brands. As the Country Head for Versace and Corneliani, he spearheaded their entry into the Indian market. His
technical expertise was equally transformative in manufacturing; he established the modern production systems for
Lacoste in India and managed the complex technology transfer for a Groupo Marzotto project.
His career is marked by a “results-first” mindset, leading to several industry milestones, including:
âą Conducting Indiaâs first anthropometric study for menâs suit sizing.
âą Conceptualizing innovative private labels like âBench & Barâ and âSU Misuraâ.
âą Introducing Versace mobile phones and luxury home concepts to the Indian consumer.

Mr. Gupta founded Luxury Connect LLP and the Luxury
Connect Business School (LCBS)âIndiaâs first and only
institution dedicated to the business of luxury. Through
LCBS, he bridges the gap between global standards
and local talent, backed by a world-class faculty of
industry veterans.
Beyond business, Abhay is a Marshall Goldsmith
certified coach and the President of the Center for
Education Growth & Research (Delhi NCR). He serves as
a strategic advisor to platforms like âPromising Indiansâ
