Hello, I am Vishakha, from Batch 15 for the Luxury Brand Management course from Luxury Connect Business. Entering a prestigious college like LCBS marked the beginning of a remarkable journey filled with unparalleled experiences and invaluable lessons. As I reflect on my time at this institution, I am happy to share the milestones, challenges, and personal growth that have defined my journey thus far. Academics at LCBS are synonymous with excellence. The curriculum, guided by industry experts and accomplished faculty members, has constantly challenged me to expand my horizons. Each course has been a fascinating exploration of luxury brand management, marketing, and strategy, equipping me with the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in the luxury sector. Beyond the classroom, the bonds I’ve formed with fellow students have been a source of support. Shared aspirations have not only enriched my learning experience but have also led to friendships that I know will last a lifetime.
Through extracurricular activities and classroom activities, I’ve had the chance to hone my communication skills. This experience has not only bolstered my confidence but has also prepared me to be a future leader in the luxury industry. I recently embarked on a three-day induction journey. This immersive experience allowed me to delve into the intricacies of luxury and an introduction to the Batch-16 students. The 1 st day of induction was named the “Introduction Day” for Batch-16 students. On the 2 nd day, we were granted exclusive access to some of the most iconic luxury brands and boutiques, like Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Versace, Corneliani, and Sarita Handa. Stepping into these beautifully curated spaces was like entering a world of elegance and sophistication. It was a hands-on experience, allowing us to witness firsthand how luxury brands create unique environments to engage their customers. We discovered how every detail, from store layout to the materials used, contributes to the overall luxury experience.
On the 3rd day, the spotlight shifted to knowledge sharing and networking during the “panel discussion” day. Esteemed representatives like Mr. Hemant Mediratta, Mr. Rummy Anand, Ms. Nalini Gupta, and Ananya Rajpoot from Luxury brands graced the event, participating in insightful discussions on industry trends, their challenges, and innovation like AIs in the industry. The panelists shared their success stories. It was a rare opportunity to interact with these industry leaders, gaining valuable perspectives for a future career in luxury. The three-day induction experience left me with a profound appreciation for the world of luxury brands. Beyond the allure of high-end products, I learned that luxury is about storytelling, heritage, and creating a world where customers feel like royalty. As I embark on the next phase of my journey at LCBS, I am filled with anticipation and determination. I am excited about the opportunities that await. My journey at LCBS has been a transformative and enlightening experience. It has equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to excel in the world of luxury management.
