Course Induction By- Yashasvi Dalvi

My name is Dr. Yashasvi Dalvi. I’m from Mumbai.

I completed my Bachelors of Physiotherapy and Fellowship in Cardiac Rehabilitation.

I was looking forward to enter the luxury wellness industry.

After contacting with the counselors of LCBS, I developed a trust and went forward with my admission procedure.

Joining LCBS, I got exposed to various luxury industries and brands.

The 3 days course induction was a very well-organized session for the students to develop a foundation about the course.

Here are the 3 days overview of the course induction-

DAY- 1

22^nd March 2023, was the first day of our college.

Session-

1. Campus Tour by Alpana Ma’am
2. Briefing about Rules & Regulations by Akshay Sir
3. Icebreaking Session by Shreshtha Ma’am
4. Alumni Talk- Srishti
5. Briefing on Industrial Visit by Akshay Sir

Activities performed-

1. ABC of oneself
2. SWOT Analysis
3. List

We also played badminton on campus. It was all fun.

The campus is very cute and function in every part. I felt confident on Day 1 itself after meeting all the staff of LCBS.

DAY 2

On Day 2, 23^rd March 2023, we were taken on Industrial visit.

Brands visited: –

1. Mercedes-Benz (Silver Arrows)
2. The Leela Palace
3. Oma Living

On, 23^rd March 2023, we have been taken on an Industrial Visit by LCBS. We were very grateful for the same. We learnt a lot of new things and was exposed to various Luxury Industries.

The first brand that we visited was Mercedes-Benz located at Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

• Olfactory Sense- Mild with a strong Coffee smell (Due to the cafeteria situated inside the store)
• Store Design- Spacious
• Decoration- Marigold Fluffy Flowers Garlands at the entrance and Floral Rangoli inside the store

It was a great Experience at the store.

We were welcomed gracefully; we were given all the information that we asked for.

They greeted us with hot and cold coffee.

They were well informed about the products and services that they provide.

1. The Leela Palace

The second place that we visited was The Leela Palace, Chanakyapuri. The ambience was amazing. The aura was positive and felt to spent days there.

The industry visit that happened on 23^rd March 2023, was a very informational and eye-opening event for me.

As we were been taken to variety of the luxury industry and were exposed to different vibes of the luxury sector.

We gained a lot of knowledge through this industrial visit.

I am very thankful to Abhay Gupta Sir for giving us this opportunity,

Special thanks to Akshay Sir for coordinating the visit and helping us throughout the visit.

DAY 3

On Day 3- 24^th March 2023, we presented out PPT on industrial visit in from of Mr. Abhay Sir and Shreshtha Ma’am.

They complimented us helped us to know what can we improve in our presentations.

Then later, there was Panel Discussion with Managers working in Chanel, Mercedes-Benz, Diageo, Forever Mark.

I was amazed seeing such great personalities and learning so much from them about the luxury industrial market and they solved all of our doubts and questions.

I am very Thankful to Abhay sir for inviting them at LCBS for panel discussion.

The 3 days of Course induction has made me very clear and confident about the PGDM (Luxury Brand Management) course and I’m looking forwards to start my journey at LCBS to study the PGDM program.
