Stepping into the world of an MBA in Luxury Brand Management at LCBS felt like the best decision I’ve ever made. The 3-day induction program offered a glimpse into what my lifestyle will be like in the years to come.
Day 1: We got to meet our future colleagues—like-minded individuals eager to share this journey. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Abhay Gupta, the CEO, who gave us an inspiring introduction. He shared his vision for the college and took the time to get to know us, setting the tone for our academic experience.
Day 2: We visited some of my dream luxury brands, including Louis Vuitton, Tumi, Versace, Boss, and Giorgio Armani—all in one place. The store managers and sales representatives provided valuable insights into each brand, boosting our confidence and encouraging us as we embark on our future careers in luxury.
Day 3: To cap off an overwhelming experience, Mr. Abhay Gupta organized a session with industry leaders. We had the privilege of hearing from Mr. Ajay Nambiar, CSO of M3M; Gaurav Gupta, former VP Technology & Director of Farfetch; Ms. Heena Misri, Consultant at Misri One; and Ms. Mahima Kapur, Luxury Fashion Manager at Confidential Couture. They shared their experiences, insights, and values, answering all our questions about the current state of the luxury industry.
Concluding this induction program was not just an introduction to my MBA; it was a transformative experience that solidified my passion for luxury brand management. It gave me confidence and direction, and I am excited to continue this journey, equipped with new insights and a deepened understanding of the luxury world.
