LCBS aims for students / executives who wish to develop & enhance their skills base and knowledge in the field of Luxury, Fashion & Retail. LCBS offers program at all levels, from a fresh graduate to a working executive with up to 10 years of experience.

Definitely, the aim of LCBS is to expose the students to real time luxury, fashion and retail environment. The programs at LCBS are supported by various doyens of the different industries as well as Brands .The skilling is imparted by organizing industrial visits as also with lectures and educational seminars conducted by esteemed industry experts.

All programs at LCBS are formally endorsed by Fondazione Altagamma .Our programs are accredited  by RASCI – Retailers Association’s Skill Council of India & NSDC Skill Councils. LCBS also offers twining programs (PGDLM – LCBS & IUM and EDLM) in collaboration with International University of Monaco, offering joint certification.

There is no constraint for the subjects that applicant might have studied at undergraduate level. Applicant should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University or College. The applicants need to be motivated to pursue education and follow a career in the field of Luxury, Fashion and Retail.

The applicant should be fluent in English writing, speaking and reading. However, International students applying for the program should undertake TOEFL or equivalent examination or provide a certificate from undergraduate university that the course was conducted in English. The applicant does not require to give CAT or GMAT.

Aptitude Test: The student has to undertake an online aptitude test lasting for 30 – 45 minutes. The questionnaire is based on objective & short answer assessments.

Personal Interview: In the personal interview, a candidate is judged on various parameters by a panel as listed below:

• Career Focus
• Maturity & Confidence
• General Awareness, Creative and Lateral Thinking
• Ability to Analyze / Logical Reasoning

LCBS has made major strides in the area of training and placement of its students.

Placement support is provided by the Institute to eligible students. This activity is done under the aegis of the Training & Placement Cells. Periodically, students would be informed through the students groups mail ID as well as through the LCBS Notice Board about internships or final placement coordinated through Placement Department.

Actual placements would depend upon the general economic and industry scenario, the academic and non-academic competencies including good soft skills developed by each student as well as the cultural fit of each student vis-à-vis the company, as determined by the recruiters visiting the campus.
